For VolunTourists

Whether you are venturing forth on your first, fifth, or fiftieth voluntour, TheVolunTourist.org is designed to provide you with the opportunity to share your personal story – the highs, lows, and in-betweens; the wisdom & experience you have garnered; and anything at all you feel like sharing.

Currently, the website features a “Forums” section and an “Articles” section. You may post directly to any of the forums already in existence, or you may create your own to discuss a topic which is of interest to you. You may communicate with others, ask questions, post comments, send messages – all in an effort to increase your understanding, and that of others, on topics related to VolunTourism.

The articles have been created to share the insights of authors from around the world who have a keen appreciation of VolunTourism and a desire to make it even better. Some have been published in The VolunTourist Newsletter; others have been written specifically for this website. Peruse them at your leisure and offer comments as part of your ongoing stewardship of VolunTourism. If you wish to include an “Article” that you have written, please let us know. We will be happy to review it and will respond as soon as possible with comments and feedback.
